These terms apply to this website and to consumer purchases placed with us online, by telephone or through another distance-order method where these terms are supplied. In-store purchases remain subject to your statutory rights and any terms displayed or agreed at purchase.
This holding website currently provides business information and newsletter signup. It does not currently take payment or complete an online order.
Website use
You may use this website for lawful personal use. Do not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, submit malicious material, harvest data or use its content in a misleading way. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, maintenance or misuse.
The website and its original text, layout, branding and images are protected by intellectual-property rights. You may not reproduce them commercially without permission.
Product information and fishing advice
We take reasonable care with descriptions, photographs, prices and availability, but minor variations can occur and screen colours differ. Fishing marks, conditions, regulations and product suitability can change. Community or product information is general guidance; you remain responsible for local rules, safe use and deciding whether a product is suitable.
Orders and contract formation
An enquiry, basket submission or order request is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we expressly accept the order. An automated acknowledgement, if used, only confirms receipt. We may decline an order before acceptance, for example because stock is unavailable, a price or description is clearly wrong, delivery is unavailable, payment is not authorised or legal restrictions apply.
We will provide the required order information and a durable confirmation for distance contracts. Please check it and report errors promptly.
Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling and include applicable VAT unless stated otherwise. Delivery or other charges will be disclosed before the order is accepted. Payment must be made using an agreed method. We may use a third-party payment provider; its secure service may process payment details directly.
Availability and substitutions
Stock information may change quickly, particularly for seasonal or perishable bait. We will not substitute a materially different product without agreement. If we cannot supply an accepted order, we will contact you and refund amounts paid for the unavailable item.
Delivery, risk and ownership
Our shipping policy forms part of these terms. Responsibility for goods normally passes when you or a person you identify takes physical possession, subject to any lawful safe-place instruction. Ownership passes when we receive payment in full.
Cancellations, returns and refunds
Cancellation and return rights are explained in our refund policy. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and applicable distance-selling rules.
Our responsibility
We do not exclude liability where it would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or breach of statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made, or for business losses arising from a consumer purchase.
Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delay caused by events outside our reasonable control. We will take reasonable steps to reduce the effect, contact you where the impact is material and explain available cancellation rights.
Changes, law and disputes
We may update these terms for future use of the website or future orders. The version supplied when an order is accepted applies to that order. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers can bring proceedings in the courts applicable under mandatory consumer law. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern.
